2. Lake Shkodra

Stroll along Rruga Kole Idromeno, Shkodra's main pedestrian boulevard, lined with colourful mansions, cafes and local artisan shops. The old bazaar is perfect for handmade crafts and traditional Albanian products.
4. Marubi National Museum of Photography
Housed in a beautifully restored Ottoman-era building, Marubi Museum holds over 500,000 glass-plate negatives documenting Albanian life since 1858.
5. Day Trips to the Albanian Alps
Shkodra is the gateway to the Albanian Alps. From here you can organise full-day tours to Theth, Valbona and the Komani Lake ferry.
